Shipping & Delivery
Last updated:
Lace up. This page covers how a Jersey Lane order gets from your cart to your court: how long we take to get it ready, how long it spends on the road, where we ship, what it costs (nothing) and what to do if a parcel runs late. It applies to every order placed on jerseylane.shop. Questions not answered here go to support@jerseylane.shop, and we reply within 24 hours on business days.
The quick read
- Processing: 1-3 business days to get your order ready before it leaves us.
- Transit: 7-14 business days to the United States, Canada, Australia and New Zealand.
- Cost: free shipping to all four countries, with no order minimum.
- Where from: orders ship from the USA.
- Where to: the United States, Canada, Australia and New Zealand only. We do not ship to other countries.
- Shipping details: when your order ships, we email you the shipping details we have.
- Delivery dates: every time on this page is an estimate. We never promise a specific delivery date.
From checkout to your doorstep
Every order moves through the same four stages. Knowing them helps you plan around the first tip-off of the season.
Stage 1: you place the order
You check out and receive an order confirmation email. Read it right away. It lists every jersey, size, colourway and any name or number you typed. If something looks off, you have 24 hours from placing the order to email us a change or cancellation. Our Cancel or Change an Order page explains how that window works.
Stage 2: processing (1-3 business days)
Processing is the time we take to get your order ready to leave us. Personalised pieces, such as a Custom Name & Number Reversible Jersey, are produced with the name and number exactly as you typed them in the product-page fields. Processing is counted in business days, not calendar days.
Stage 3: your order ships
When your order leaves us, we email you the shipping details we have. Keep that email until your parcel is in your hands. If you do not see it, check your spam or promotions folder before writing to us.
Stage 4: transit (7-14 business days)
Transit is the time your parcel spends on the road after it ships. It is 7-14 business days to all four countries we serve. Weather, holiday peaks and local delivery networks can push a parcel toward the long end of that range.
Free shipping across four countries
There is no shipping fee on any Jersey Lane order to the countries below. It does not matter whether you buy one pair of Court Crew Socks or a full roster of reversible jerseys. No minimum spend, no coupon code. Checkout shows free shipping for addresses in these countries.
| Destination | Shipping cost | Processing | Transit | What to plan for |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| United States | Free, no minimum | 1-3 business days | 7-14 business days | Processing plus transit, counted in business days |
| Canada | Free, no minimum | 1-3 business days | 7-14 business days | Processing plus transit; import charges depend on Canadian rules |
| Australia | Free, no minimum | 1-3 business days | 7-14 business days | Processing plus transit; import charges depend on Australian rules |
| New Zealand | Free, no minimum | 1-3 business days | 7-14 business days | Processing plus transit; import charges depend on New Zealand rules |
If your address is in any other country, checkout will not offer a shipping option. That is not a glitch. We simply do not ship there yet, and we would rather tell you up front than take an order we cannot deliver.
Beat the buzzer: timing your order before game day
Most of our customers order with a date in mind. The first game of the season. A Saturday 3-on-3 tournament. A birthday. A new player joining the roster mid-season. Here is how to work backward from that date.
Do the maths in business days
Add processing (1-3 business days) to transit (7-14 business days). Business days are Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays. An order placed on a Friday evening starts processing on the next business day, not on Saturday.
Example: the first game is 10 days away
Say your youth team’s opener is 10 calendar days from today. Ten calendar days holds only around seven or eight business days. Processing alone can use up to three of them, and transit can take up to fourteen more. The jerseys may well not arrive in time. We will not tell you otherwise, and we never promise a date. If you are inside that kind of gap, consider a plan B for the first game, such as a reversible practice set the team already owns, and order now so the jerseys land as early as they can.
Give yourself a cushion
- Season openers: order once your roster and numbers are settled, not the week before tip-off.
- Tournaments: count back from the tournament date, then add a few extra days for holiday weeks.
- Gifts: for a birthday jersey with a kid’s name and number, order well ahead and check the spelling twice before you pay.
- Mid-season additions: a new player’s jersey is a new order with its own processing and transit time. Order it as soon as the number is decided.
Shipping details and order status
We keep you in the loop by email. When your order ships, we email you the shipping details we have. What those details include can vary by order and destination, so we do not promise any particular format or service.
You can also check where your order stands at any time on our Order Tracking page. Enter your order ID and the billing email you used at checkout, and the page shows the current status of your order. If you have an account, your order history is in My Account as well.
What the order statuses mean
- Processing: we have your order and are getting it ready. This is the 1-3 business day stage.
- Completed: your order has left us and is on its way to you.
- Cancelled or refunded: the order was cancelled at your request or by us, and you have received an email about it.
Did not get any email from us after placing an order? Check your spam folder, then email us with your order number and the name used at checkout. A mistyped email address at checkout is the most common cause, and we can fix it.
Addresses, gifts and sending a jersey across the world
Check the address before you pay
We ship to the address you enter at checkout, exactly as entered. Before you place the order, look over the street number, apartment or unit number, city, state or province, and ZIP or postal code. A missing unit number is the quiet reason many parcels go astray.
Spotted a mistake? Email us within 24 hours of placing the order with the corrected address. Once your order has shipped, we can no longer change the address on our side, but contact us anyway and we will see what can be done.
Different billing and shipping addresses
That is fine, and it happens often with gifts. Here is a real-world example. A grandparent in Canada orders a Custom Youth Name & Number Jersey for a grandchild who plays in Australia. The billing address is in Canada. The shipping address is in Australia. Both countries are on our list, so shipping is free. Processing is 1-3 business days and transit to Australia is 7-14 business days. Any import charges are set by Australia, not by us, and may be asked of the person receiving the parcel.
Ordering for a whole roster
Each jersey is added to the cart one at a time, with that player’s name and number. A coach ordering ten jerseys might place them all in one checkout or across several. Separate orders are processed separately, so they may not ship or arrive on the same day. If matching arrival matters for a team photo or opening game, put the whole roster through one checkout.
Customs, duties and import charges
Orders ship from the USA. Parcels going to Canada, Australia or New Zealand cross a border, and each of those countries has its own rules about duties, import taxes and handling fees.
- Whether any charge applies depends on the destination country and its rules at the time your parcel arrives.
- Any such charges are not shown in our checkout total.
- If a charge is requested, it is requested by the destination country’s authorities or the delivery service working for them, usually from the recipient.
We cannot predict or change these charges. If you are worried about them, check your country’s customs website before you order, or email us and we will tell you what we know about your order.
A long-haul example
A parcel to New Zealand can take the full 14 business days in transit. That is still within our normal range, not a lost parcel. If your order to Auckland or Christchurch is quiet for a while, check the order status and the shipping email first. If you are past the end of the estimate, write to us.
When a parcel runs late, goes missing or arrives damaged
Most orders arrive without a fuss. When one does not, we want to hear from you.
Running late
Start with the estimate: 1-3 business days of processing plus 7-14 business days of transit. If your parcel has not arrived after that, contact us with your order number. Tell us as soon as you can, and we will look into it with you and help you get to a fix.
Shows as delivered but you cannot find it
Check around the door, with neighbours, with your building’s mail room or front desk, and with anyone else at the address. Kids sometimes bring parcels inside without telling anyone. Still nothing? Email us with your order number and the shipping address, and we will help.
Arrived damaged or with the wrong item
Take clear photos of the outer packaging, the shipping label and the item, then email them to us with your order number. Do not throw the packaging away until we reply. Tell us as soon as you can after delivery. We review each case and help you get it sorted, and the route for sending items back is set out in our Returns & Exchanges Policy.
What happens to your photos
Photos you email us are used only to sort out your order. We delete them 30 days after delivery of the order. More on how we handle your information is in our Privacy Policy.
Business days, holidays and peak weeks
Both processing and transit are counted in business days, Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays. The days around major holidays and the weeks before many youth and adult rec seasons start are busy for everyone moving parcels. Our estimates stay the same, but delays toward the long end of the range are more likely in those weeks. If you are ordering for a specific date during a busy stretch, order early.
Shipping and the rest of our policies
- Shipping is always free to our four countries, so there is never a shipping charge to refund. Money questions are covered on our Refund Policy page.
- Returns are free too: change-of-mind returns get a free return label within 60 days of delivery. See the Returns & Exchanges Policy.
- Unsure about youth versus adult sizing before you order? The Size Guide walks you through measuring and choosing, which saves a round trip.
- Payment options available for your order are shown at checkout. See Payment Methods.
